THE BEHAVIOR OF SOME COTTON (GOSSYPIUM HIRSUTUM) GENOTYPES UNDER SANDY SOIL CONDITIONS IN SOUTHERN OLTENIA

چکیده

This study follows the behaviour of seven genotypes cotton (Gossypium hirsutum), cultivated on sandy soils Dăbuleni, with aim diversifying range plants tolerant to climatic factors in southern Oltenia. Observation vegetative characteristics such as plant height, number sympodia, flowers first decade flowering and quantitative boll weight, fibre seed weight seeds / were object study. Research development was correlated data recorded by weather station Dăbuleni RDSPCS, during growing season from sowing field formation. Following showing positive results, The Beli-Lom genotype stood out terms yield percentage, Cirpan-539 Beli-Iskar had growth yield.
